• SSC STARTUP WEEK

    May 25, 2020 - May 29, 2020

The SSC Startup Week is a virtual business competition where student teams develop business cases and MVP's to win cash prizes! Come jumpstart your business with the support and mentorship it needs.

  • ABOUT THE SSC STARTUP WEEK

WHO? College students interested in innovation in the Sacramento/Davis area. Recent graduates are welcomed as well.

WHAT? Startup Week is a virtual event where student teams start a company in less than a week, getting hands-on experience with innovation and entrepreneurship concepts. There are two main pieces to the competition: Business Development and Technical Development

    WHEN? May 25, 2020, 10AM - May 29, 2020, 6PM

HOW? Via Zoom, SSCStartupWeek.com. Sign up to compete here.

I have an idea I’ve been working on. Can I participate? Of course! We welcome teams that have already made progress on their startup ventures, however you should not have significant traction. We also expect your submissions to Startup Week to reflect the work completed during the event, not before. The Startup Week competition puts an emphasis on building something from the ground up in just a week!

I need help finding team members. How can I find people remotely? Join our community Slack channel here and join the #find-your-founder channel!

Can I participate as a solo founder? Although we encourage team work, you can definitely participate and compete as a solo founder!
